documentation of Rubin’s works

The Rubin Museum has been conducting a Catalogue Raisonne project for several years, with the aim of documenting Rubin's entire oeuvre. When completed, the project will be the most authoritative encompassing reservoir of information about Rubin's works, substantiating their authenticity. It will most probably be the first such documentation for an Israeli artist.

The project entails a world-wide research to locate, identify and document all of Rubin's oil paintings and sculptures. Each listing in the catalogue will include an image of the painting, a detailed provenance, and details about exhibitions and participation or mention in publications. Thus it will serve as a reliable authoritative source of information for researchers, curators, collectors and art dealers. A listing of a painting in the Catalogue Raisonne exclusively vouches for it's authenticity.

Owners of Rubin paintings are invited to fill the detailed form, describing the painting in their possession. Please fill the form in English by linking to the Catalogue Raisonne form at the bottom of this page – a separate form for each painting. Should you prefer to contact us by mail, please specify the title of the painting, its measurements, technique and your contact details.

Your information will be kept confidential. Thank you for your cooperation.
